Fash-hole of the Week! July 22nd

Although this outfit is from July 11th, 2012, I believe that this outfit deserves attention 2 weeks later.

We get it Bjork, you have an even crazier style than Lady Gaga, which I might add is hard to beat. But why can't you take the term "little black dress" and take it a bit more literally than you have? You look like youre wearing somebodies intestines after an octopus got scared and "inked" all over it. When, in a million years, would a "dress" full of tubes even be remotely appropriate for a concert? Give yourself some credit, You're almost 50 years old and you're face doesn't have a wrinkle on it. Why would you cover up nearly half of it with that bush-man hairstyle?

Oh, you like her style, and want to look JUST like her? She looks totally stunning, I can absolutely see why. Well, just go lie down on hot melting tar during a blistering July summer afternoon. The tar should stick to you, and begin bubbling.. giving you the magnificent "tubing" effect that Bjork pulled off! Oh.. AND you want the hair? Step one: Go on a long drive in a convertible, making sure your hair turns into one giant knot. Step Two: Ask the nearest 3 year old to make 4 different flavors Kool-Aid, and begin dipping your hair into each flavor, giving it that "Post-Crayola-Crayon-Colored-Look."

I would be a little more of a downer, but I think I'll take it easy during the first week of the blog.

What do you guys think of Bjork's "Black and Bouffant" get-up? Leave your comments below!

  1. Fans of her expect weird, that's part of why they see her.Remember this is for the stage-not the street,or the red carpet. This actually make me like her more and I have never been a fan of hers. It takes a lot to beat out that swan dress 20 years ago-I think this one does it-Bravo!

  2. She used to get on my nerves for being so contrived with the whak-a-doo persona, but I agree that after 20 years of consistency I am starting to be charmed by her truly eccentric stage presence and personality. The stage is not the red carpet...and I want costumes for a SHOW!

  3. Hey there! I can see the fact that you undoubtedly get the sense of what you are writing about here. Do you have a degree or maybe an education that is somehow associated with the subject of your article? Many thanks in advance for your answer.
